You're more likely to encounter someone having a panic attack than a heart attack. Mental Health First Aid is a skills-based training that teaches people how to identify, understand and respond to signs and symptoms of a mental health or substance use challenge in adults ages 18 and over.
When you complete this 8 hour training, you will receive certification through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing as a Mental Health First Aider. Let's make Mental Health First Aid as common as CPR First Aid.

Participants will complete 2 hours of self-guided pre-work online followed by a full day virtual training with a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor.
Here's why you should get certified in Mental Health First Aid:

-
Each year, anxiety disorders affect 40 million adults in the U.S. aged 18 and older, or 18.1 percent of the population. (Anxiety and Depression Association of America)

-
About 80 percent of adults with depression reported at least some difficulty with work, home and social activities because of their depression. (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)

In this Post-Covid environment, Mental Health First Aiders are needed now more than ever in the workplace, in schools, in churches, and in the community. Register now to earn certification or Contact Be Well Resource Group to conduct an 8-hour virtual certification training for your team. The benefits are invaluable!
